Katherine is a San Diego based midwifery student, doula, and fertility expert.

When I am invited to work with someone on their journey to motherhood my commitment is to support their own unique hopes and expectations for conception and birth.

I offer full spectrum services, pre-conception consultations, fertility work, birth doula, and placenta encapsulation. For preconception and fertility I offer abdominal therapy, sound healing and herbal consultations. As a birth worker I offer doula services, guiding women to empower themselves on their own path to a positive birth experience. For postpartum, I offer placenta encapsulation using the traditional Chinese medicine techniques and offer client specific herbal formulas in the placenta preparation.  I am a yoga and meditation teacher, reiki practitioner and, postpartum doula. I spent most of 2019 studying holistic medicine in Asia, becoming certified as an advanced practitioner and teacher trainer for Thai massage, studying Tibetan singing bowl therapy with a shaman in Nepal, and learning traditional midwifery practices and herbal medicine from healers in Thailand.  I bring this wealth of knowledge with me to every birth and tailor it to my client’s personalized needs.
